1.6 mile long channel improvement project which proposes to remove more than 100 acres from an existing FEMA Zone “A” floodplain. Responsible for coordinating the improvements with the preparation of a CLOMR submittal as well as the environmental permitting process to meet the aggressive design schedule. Additionally, design progress coordinated with Regional Transit due to future light rail and pedestrian facilities located adjacent to the south bank of the channel.
